For all the 5 km on the long-beach of San Benedetto del Tronto, one of the most beautiful and suggestive of Italy, you’ll find a long sequence of palm-trees and oleanders, offering an unique performance. Besides the bicycle path, the long-beach is a perfect place to go for a walk or to ride by bike. San Benedetto del Tronto also has a lot of sport facilities: tennis, roller-skating, hockey, football, rugby; offers a tourist harbour with a boat club, a sport palace, bowling greens, swimming-pools, track and field and several opportunities for fun. Moving just a few kilometres you can visit many places with a wide artistic interest.
One of the most beautiful town of the Marche, Ascoli Piceno maintained important evidences of passed ages, Roman, medieval and Renaissance. To mention the wonderful Piazza del Popolo(the Public Square), where the famous Caffè Meletti is facing the square. In July and August takes place the Tournament of the Quintana which is opened by a long procession with more than a thousand walks-on, all sumptuously clad in the fifteenth century and ends at the playing field with the Joust of the Saracen.
