Ascoli Piceno
One of the most beautiful town of the Marche, Ascoli Piceno maintained important evidences of passed ages, Roman, medieval and Renaissance. To mention the wonderful Piazza del Popolo(the Public Square), where the famous Caffè Meletti is facing the square. In July and August takes place the Tournament of the Quintana which is opened by a long procession with more than a thousand walks-on, all sumptuously clad in the fifteenth century and ends at the playing field with the Joust of the Saracen.
